What motivates you to do this work?
I have had wonderful opportunities over the past several years to support work at the intersection of poverty, housing, and health. Time and again, I witnessed how compounding affordability challenges – of housing, healthcare, transportation, childcare, food – interfere with the well-being of individuals, families, and communities. I believe that every person should have access to the resources and care they need to be their healthiest selves, and that research is a valuable tool to drive structural change in this area.
