Sarah joined the team in 2025 and is a rising senior pursuing a B.S. in Public Health Sciences at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
What motivates you to do this work?
I believe that the heart of public health work lies in its ability to meaningfully center the voices and needs of underserved communities, inspiring me to reflect about how research can drive equitable change. I am grateful to be a part of a team dedicated to combating chronic disease disparities and partnering with organizations across the country to improve health outcomes for those most affected. As a student, it is a privilege to contribute to this work while continuing to learn from the research team and the communities we serve, deepening my understanding of what it means to practice impactful public health with empathy.
